Welcome to Moocat Crafts
Hello. I make bright sewn items for children and for the home. I have a range of ready made products from bunting to sock monkeys. Please take a look at the picture galleries to see examples of my work. I also take commissions to create more unusual makes and can generally rise to any challenge!
I’m based in sunny Streatham, South London and am willing to travel relatively locally to attend craft events. Enjoy!

I come from a creative family; my Granny was always sewing and she made me many toys when I was a child. My Mum made clothes and dressing up outfits for my brother and I – she also taught me how to sew and knit. My sewing business began from friends seeing and loving the bunting, toys and bags that I made for my own children.
The business name was invented by my eldest daughter, when young, during one of her chalk board writing sessions. She was being silly by writing animals next to the ‘wrong’ animal sound – and Moocat the business was born.
I love displaying the varied items that I make and experiencing people’s reactions to them face to face. I particularly enjoy the challenge of being asked to create an unusual commission as well as making some of my old favourites. The fact that so much of my business is repeat business is incredibly rewarding.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a few of the items I’ve made feature in the national press.

Christmas stockings that I was commissioned to sew for a Christmas article in The Sunday Times. The stockings are full of presents for the micro pigs pictured!

I am happy to post items if necessary charging the required postage and packaging fees.
If I knew how to work speed dial, Kirsty would be on it as my ‘go to’ gift maker for all the new babies my friends keep having. She’s done more sets of bunting for me than I care to remember and her sock monkeys are awesome!Annie Rey
Kirsty’s bunting is my go to present for any new babies. Kirsty makes beautiful bunting with gorgeous fabrics and, as it’s all handmade, even babies with unusual names can have their own and you can choose motifs. It’s ironed and wrapped in tissue paper. It’s also really well priced. Friends always ask where I got it from too. Her sock monkeys and rabbits are gorgeous too.Jane Carpenter
The floral bunting I bought my nieces is so pretty I’m sure it will be hanging in their rooms for years to come. You can really feel the superb handmade quality of the fabric and the design is timeless. I’ve also bought peg bags and iPad cases from Moocat Crafts as I love the fabrics and everything is finished to such a high standard.Rachel Wright
I have commissioned several bespoke items from Moocat Crafts over the past year and Kirsty has always come up with just what I wanted! The sock monkeys are gorgeous and make special personalised presents.Lizzie Huckle
I ordered some bespoke bunting for a new baby present. My rather vague ideas were taken by Kirsty and refined and the resulting bunting was delightful.
Fantastic quality, beautiful fabrics, great price and excellent customer service are strengths of the company. I have no hesitation in recommending Moocat Crafts.
